This book examines how to teach social skills to children in out-of-school time settings. The book examines seven critical social skills that children need, and the three ways to teach those skills. With lots of examples and step-by-step procedures, this book is designed to be practical and hands-on. The school-age care practitioner is in a premier place to teach the social skills that children need, and this book helps the adult in that task.
